1985's Smash/worldwide hit "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears For Fears. Now, re-edited the "Disconet remix" version mixin' with the "Open Air Dub Mix" from the rare UK Maxi-mix in my own tribute by one of my all time's favourites tunes and Duo. Hope you'll enjoy this... :) Review.- Tears for Fears (abbreviated TFF) are a popular English pop band formed in the early 1980s by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, which emerged after the dissolution of their first band, the mod-influenced Graduate. They were initially associated with New Wave and the burgeoning wave of synthesiser bands of the early 1980s, but quickly branched out into mainstream chart success. Tears for Fears have sold more than 21 million albums worldwide. Review from 1985's "Songs From The Big Chair" - A change of direction was initially instigated as they began working with a new producer, Jeremy Green, on their new single "Mothers Talk" in early 1984, but the band were ultimately unhappy with the results and so producer Chris Hughes was brought back into the fold and the "Mothers Talk" single reproduced for release in August 1984. A distinct departure from their earlier works, the single became a top 20 hit in the UK, but it was the follow-up single "Shout" (released in the UK in November 1984) that was the real beginning of the band's golden age. This top 5 hit paved the way for the long-awaited second album Songs from the Big Chair (released in February 1985), which entered the UK album chart at no.2 and remained in the upper reaches of the chart for the next 12 months. With this album, Orzabal and Smith lessened their preoccupation with pop psychology and turned their attention to wider themes, including the global politics of the Reagan-Thatcher era. They did away with the predominantly synth-pop feel of the first album, instead expanding into a more sophisticated sound that would become the band's stylistic hallmark. Anchored around the creative hub of producer Hughes, Stanley and Orzabal, the new Tears for Fears sound helped to propel Songs from the Big Chair into becoming one of the year's biggest global sellers and achieve quintuple-platinum sales status in the U.S. (where it remained the no.1 album for five weeks). The album's success was in conjunction to the array of hit singles it yielded: "Mothers Talk" (the first to be released in the UK, but the last to be released in the US in a remixed form), "Shout" (#4 UK, #1 in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, etc., and a huge hit in other territories, in fact one of the biggest of the eighties), "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", (their biggest UK hit at #2 and another #1 in the U.S.), "Head Over Heels" (UK #12, US #3) and "I Believe (A Soulful Re-Recording)" (UK #23). Some territories even saw the release of limited edition 10" singles for these hits, in addition to the regular 7" and multiple 12" formats.

Under illustration #9 in the center of the book you will find the caption; "Lovett with the Yale Unit, above far right, and on the beach: His Initiation into Skull and Bones came at an air base near Dunkirk". I have found that members were chosen on an ongoing basis by invitation based upon merit post college and was not confined to only Havard or Yale attendees. A chosen few were later initiated into the Jason Society. They are all members of Council on Foreign Relations and at that time were known as the "Eastern Establishment". This should give you a clue to the far reaching and serious nature of these most secret college societies. The Jason Society is alive and well today but now includes members of the Trilaterial Commission as well. The Trila-terialsists existed secretly several years BEFORE1973. The name of the Trilateral Commission was taken from the alien flag known as the Trilateral Insignia. Majority Twelve was to survive right up to the present day. Under Eisenhower and Kennedy it was erroneously called the "5412 Committee" or more correctly, the "Special Group". In the Johnson administration it became the "303 Committee" because the name 5412 had been compromised in the book, The Secret Government. Actually NSC 5412/1 was leaked to the author to hide the existence of NSC 5410. Under Nixon, Ford, and Carter it was called the "40 Committee", and under Reagan, it became the "PI-40 Committee". Over all these years only the name has changed. By 1955 it had became obvious that the aliens had deceived Eisenhower and had broken the treaty. Mutilated humans were being found along with mutilated animals all across the United States. It was suspected that the aliens were not submitting a complete list of human contacts and abductees to MJ-12 and it was suspected that not all abductees had been returned. The Soviet Union was suspected of interacting with them and this proved to be true. It was learned that the aliens had been and were then manipulating masses of people through secret societies, witchcraft, magic, the occult, and religion. After several Air Force combat air engagements with alien craft it also became apparent that our weapons were no match against them. In November of 1955 NSC-5412/2 was issued establishing a study committee to explore "all factors which are involved in the making and implementing of foreign policy in the nuclear age". This was only a blanket of snow that covered the real subject of study, the alien question. By secret Executive Memorandum, NSC 5411 in 1954, President Eisenhower had commissioned the study group to "examine all the facts, lies, and deception and discover the truth of the alien question". NSCÿ5412/2 was only a cover that had become necessary when the press began inquiring as to the purpose of regular meetings of such important men. The first meetings began at Quantico Marine Base. The study group was made up of 35 members of the Council on Foreign Relations, secret scholars known as "The Jason Society" or the "Jason Scholars". Dr. Edward Teller was invited to participate. Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski was the study director for the first 18 months. Dr. Henry Kissinger was chosen as the group's study director for the second 18 months. San Marino Jazz Festival, July 1996 http://www.linopatruno.it http://www.cambiamusica.it http://www.michaelsupnick.com John Paul 'Bucky' Pizzarelli (born January 9, 1926 (1926-01-09) (age 82)) is an American classical jazz guitarist and banjoist, perhaps most notable for his work with jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli, his son. John has also worked for NBC as a staffman for Dick Cavett (1951) and also ABC with Bobby Rosengarden in (1952). The list of musicians Bucky has collaborated with over his career is considerable, including Les Paul, Stephane Grappelli, and Benny Goodman. Bucky acknowledges Django Reinhardt, Freddie Green, and George Van Eps for their influences on his style and mode of play. John Pizzarelli was born January 9, 1926 in Paterson, New Jersey, learning to play the guitar and banjo at a young age. His uncles (Pete and Bobby Domenick) were professional musicians, and sometimes the extended family would gather at one of their homes with their guitars for jam sessions. Of course when Bucky learned the tricks of the trade, he frequently joined them. His first guitar was an archtop Gibson, an expensive instrument at the time. During high school, John was guitarist for a small band that performed classical music. John began his professional career at 17 when he joined the Vaughn Monroe band in 1943. Near the end of World War II, while in Austria as an infantryman fulfilling wartime military service for the Army, Pizzarelli was absent from Monroe's band (though he rejoined the outfit in 1946 and played for another 5 years with them). While in the military, he played in an unauthorized dance band. In 1954, he became a member of the Doc Severinsen band on the Tonight Show while Johnny Carson was host. Bucky also was on the Katie Smith Show that same year. During his time spent performing for the Tonight Show, Bucky accompanied guest bands and musicians playing through a landscape of musical genres. While self-professedly not a big fan of rock and roll, Bucky performed on 7 hits with Dion and the Belmonts during this period and enjoyed the sessions. From 1956--1957, John performed with The Three Sounds trio along with bassist Andy Simpkins and pianist Gene Harris. He toured several times off and on with Benny Goodman up and until 1986, the year of Goodman's death. Beginning in the 1970s, Pizzarelli began recording as a leader, performing many tributes to musicians of the 1930s era. Bucky has performed at the White House in Washington, D.C. with artists such as Benny Goodman, two performances for President Ronald Reagan and one for President Bill Clinton. He also played a private birthday party for Pat Nixon, President Richard Nixon's wife, at the Nixon home. Jersey Jazz Guitars was the name of a 1985 concert held at the Rutgers University Nicholas Music Center in New Brunswick. The ticket featured Bucky, Les Paul, Tal Farlow, and Bucky's son John. The concert was aired on New Jersey's PBS station as part of their 3-part New Jersey Summerfare Series. Bucky and Les Paul had performed together before with one another, as they were neighbors and cordial friends. The show aired for one hour in August of 1985, with son John adding his vocals on two selections. In addition to his son John, Bucky's son Martin Pizzarelli and daughter Mary are also professional musicians. Martin is a bassist who has recorded both with his father and brother. Mary is a classical guitarist who appeared on her father's second album as leader titled Green Guitar Blues, as well as other recordings. Pizzarelli has also appeared on three albums of his daughter-in-law (John's wife), Jessica Molaskey. Today Bucky Pizzarelli resides in a home on the banks of the Saddle River in Saddle River, New Jersey with his wife Ruth.
