Movie star and NASCAR racer Paul Newman stars in Disney's newest Pixar offering Cars. Newman is the voice of Doc Hudson, a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a mysterious past. When Owen Wilson's Lightning McQueen is detoured to the town of Radiator Springs on his way to California to compete in the Piston Cup Championship, Doc Hudson shows him the true meaning of being a winner. Newman says he couldn't turn down the opportunity to showcase his passion for cars. "Would I be interested in doing an animated cartoon about a race film in which I played a 1951 Hudson Hornet. I said the combination is irresistible. The character which is the vocal aspect of it came very quickly. He was Southern, he was old. He...

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Stars in Budweiser Ad
With over 90 million viewers expected to tune in to this year's Super Bowl, advertisers are pulling out all the stops to make their campaign stand out. We were able to get a sneak peak at the making one of this year's humorous Budweiser ads, where the creative team known for creating "Bud Bowl," the "Whassup!" guys and the Budweiser frogs is bringing in NASCAR superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr. for a new spin on their spots.
For this year's ad called "Apocalypse," creators pulled out all the stops including fire-bombs, high-speed car chases, stunt jumps and helicopters to create a high-intensity, epic production. Shot near Lancaster, Calif., the scene is a barren desert depicting the end of the world. The four-time consecutive winner of NASCAR's Most Popular Driver award takes on an angry group of post-Apocalyptic mutants for his highly coveted Budweiser.
Anheuser-Busch - the game's largest advertiser - has 5 minutes of commercial space this year. To prepare they spend months crafting ad concepts, and out of dozens of ideas, the company commissions more than 30 ads to be produced. Then the creative directors, producers, and director go to work to make ads that last for seconds - but have us talking for weeks.
Anheuser-Busch has been producing Super Bowl spots since 1975 - and last year won its 8th consecutive USA TODAY "Ad Meter" victory.

Cledus T. Judd did a Remake of the Toby Keith song, I Love This Bar called I Love Nascar.
We got owners, favorite drivers,
Boy, that Tony Stewart's a whiner.
An' we got rookies, advertisers,
**Like, uh, let's see: Havoline, Target, sharpie, Caterpiller, Nextel,
**Mountain Dew, DuPont, Lowes, Home Depot, Kodak,
**M&Ms, UPS, Tide, Alltel, Gillette, Kelloggs, Viagra, DeWalt, and uh Budweiser.
But the trophy girls still have my favorite parts.
Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.
We got cautions, we got pitstops,
You can't hear a dang thing once the flag drops.
An' poor Kyle Patty, an' swervin' Marlin, ha ha,
Are gonna find it tough to beat Mark Martin.
'Cause that Viagra car is always driven hard.
Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.
I love NASCAR, it's my kind of race.
Just watchin' Jeff Gordon plow up a wall,
Puts a smile on Dale Junior's face.
No caviar. It's it's beer an Mopar.
Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.
I like short tracks, you'll see more wrecks,
An' about a million screamin' rednecks.
An' ol' Jeff Burton, ha, an' poor Mike Skinner,
Well, they've done forgot what it's like to be a winner.
An' Ken Schrader still ain't sure who his sponsors are.
Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.
**"Hey, that was a close one up there boys.
**"Bout got into one there."
**"I might pull over right up here next pitstop,
"I want you to get two right front tires"
"I need a wedge on the left side to keep this windshield playin' on the gas.
"An' you don't care, hand me a pair of underwear, I have messed all in my drawers."
I like football. (I like football.)
I like my wrestlin'.
I like a good game of air hockey,
I like some ping pong now an' then.
How about you, Toby?
I love NASCAR, it's my kind of race.
Just to see Big E back on the track,
Would put a smile on every face.
No-one drove a car quite like Earnhardt.
Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom, I love NASCAR.
Vroom, vroom, vroom: Gentlemen, start your engines:
I love NASCAR.

ROSSBURG, Ohio (June 5) -- Colorful NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace is calling out NHRA Funny Car points leader Ron Capps in advance of Wednesday's Nextel "Prelude to the Dream" charity race at Eldora Speedway. Wallace says Capps better get used to looking at the rear end of his JEGS.com late model stock car because he plans on out-running the drag racing interloper.
"Somebody needs to remind Capps that I'm the inaugural winner of this race," Wallace said. "This is the third year of this deal and I won it the first time through in 2005. We don't need to mention last year's race, other than the fact Tony Stewart won it all, and he's another NASCAR guy. So us NASCAR guys are 2-for-2 so far."
Wallace grimaced when he was reminded that Capps finished one spot ahead of him at last year's "Prelude to the Dream," which invites stars from all forms of motorsports to race around Eldora's half-mile clay track to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp and the Tony Stewart Foundation.
"Okay, we finished fourth and fifth last year and he may have been ahead of me by an inch or two at the end," Wallace said. "But those days are over. No more Mr. Nice Guy. I'm coming after him this year, and you'd better believe I've got my eye on [Cruz] Pedregon too.
"Just where in the world did these drag racers learn how to drive on dirt? Capps is pretty darn good, I hate to say it. And Pedregon owns a sprint car so he knows how to get dirty too.
"Hey, it's gonna be fun and Tony (Stewart) told me it sold out in record time. People can still watch it on HBO and I hope they're cheering for my JEGS.com car. Jeg (Coughlin Jr.) and Woody (JEGS publicist Scott Woodruff) are coming up to support me so we're going to try and get our second Prelude win. As long as I'm ahead of Capps at the end, I'll be happy."
Wallace will tune up for the race Tuesday night in St. Louis when he drives his St. Louis Cardinals/JEGS.com modified racecar. Wallace represents JEGS on Speed TV and banners the company on several different racecars, including his #78 Furniture Row Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR entry.
Information regarding JEGS Mail Order can be found at www.jegs.com and for media/fan resources check out www.teamjegs.com.

Lyrics:
Well, up in the backwoods, down in the holler,
Ol' boys feelin' like a dog on a collar.
Keepin' that chain pulled tight.
Waitin' on saturday night.
Put on the smell good, put on Skynyrd,
Head into town like a NASCAR winner.
Cruisin' back and forth to the Tasty Freeze.
Everywhere you look all you see is,
Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick up trucks.
Big timin' in a small town.
Stirrin' it up right about sundown.
Black denim and chrome to the bone,
With a little home-grown.
A country girl cuddled up, hillbilly deluxe.
Couple kids, sweet things, drivin' a fast bash.
Shoot 'em a coons' smile.
Hopin' that they smile back, "Hey, baby, what's your name?"
Burn a little rubber when the red lights change.
Here come the blue light, here come the bonnie.
Hot on the bill y'all, let's move the party.
Gotta go, but that's alright.
Do it all again next Friday night.
Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick-'em-up trucks.
Big timin' in a small town.
Stirrin' it up right about sundown.
Black denim and chrome to the bone,
With a little home-grown.
A country girl cuddled up, hillbilly deluxe.
--Instrumental break.--
Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick-'em-up trucks.
Big timin' in a small town.
Stirrin' it up right about sundown.
Black denim and chrome to the bone,
With a little home-grown.
A country girl cuddled up, hillbilly deluxe.
Hillbilly deluxe.
Hillbilly deluxe.
Hillbilly deluxe.

The last restart of the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Pepsi 400 came with 8 laps to go, and the top 8 all had a chance to win, including all four Hendrick cars. However, Jamie McMurray, with some last-minute help from teammate Carl Edwards, managed to edge Kyle Busch by .004 second at the start-finish line to win his first race since 2002. This is the closest finish in Daytona history.
It should be noted that Joe Nemechek's crash after the finish causes the ticker to freak out; it briefly shows him as the winner before displaying "Caution", then displaying the correct results.
I have included the Victory Lane celebration at the end of the video.
